So you have homework?

You have to peel a lot of potatoes?

You have to organize all your papers?

Well, in short, you have to do something that you don't like at the best and positively hate at worst.

There are a no. of ways to tackle this situation.

  1. Write it down: Write down

Following these steps will give you the necessary boost for getting it done.  (This technique is not my own invention, I'd read about it somewhere.)

  1. Listen to music: If you're task is long and boring and doesn't require much thought, then you can turn on the music and do your work while listening to it. This technique will surely get your work done without making you feel bored in the least, 'cause all the while you've only listened to the music, and it's only your hands that have done the work! So you'll get the work done without really doing it! I've used this technique personally whenever I had to do something really boring. It works like magic.
  2. Reward yourself: Since the task itself isn't exciting for you, create attraction. What I mean is, do something, that will make you want to do it. A good way to do this is to reward yourself for doing it. Tell yourself something like, "If I finish this task within the next hour, I'll buy myself a nice big icecream." This will make you want to finish the task, for the sake of that icecream at least!
So that's all for today. Hope this helps.

Wish you all the best!
